As if this universe wasn’t already expansive enough, Marvel continues to give even more depth to the universe with its most recent What If episode featuring the son of Prince N’jobu. In this episode, we primarily see him and Tony Stark following a much different path. A lot of things happen in the episode that would have incredibly different effects on the universe than the one we were accustomed to.

In this episode, not only does the modern guardian of Wakanda, T'challa, meet his end, but also Tony Stark, and James Rhodes. With everything happening back during the time of the first Iron Man film, as opposed to the first time we meet the former Navy Seal in Black Panther, the effects of this episode would cause massive effects.

The nation of Wakanda would very likely meet its end with the new Warmonger at the helm, and what would happen to the ever-precious resource vibranium is up in the air. Iron man and the Avengers would likely never come into being ever due to the vast changes that he makes in this alternate timeline. How would this timeline without Iron Man fare with Loki’s invasion of New York, the rise of Hydra, and the inevitable incursion of Thanos? Hopefully, we get to see this world expanded on in the future.
