Ford Maverick fans on Reddit are shocked and appalled after finding listings online for used Mavericks with VERY low miles at jacked up prices.

One user posted a link to an AutoTrader listing asking $46,000 for a Maverick model that sells new for around $36,000.

The Maverick in question shows 410 miles on the odometer and features the supercrew setup and the 2.0 Liter Turbo engine with All Wheel Drive.

Some readers in the Ford Maverick Reddit group were quick to point at that this is just the way the car market is these days and that the forces of the free market are on display. One reader says there are two paths to getting what you want in the car market these days…

You can wait in line and pay MSRP or you can pay a premium price to get the car you want as fast as possible. In other words, the car market right now is a bit of a hassle.

The Reddit discussion about this phenomenon with Maverick pricing got a little testy, with some accusing dealers or re-sellers of gouging customers. After all, paying nearly 30% over MSRP to get your hands on a used Maverick isn’t for the faint of heart.
