The new 2020 Corvette Stingray is here and it's time for my first drive! Ever since the huge reveal event I've been looking forward to having a go to see what the mid-engined C8 is actually like, and this is finally the day!

For the first time, the Corvette is now a mid-engined car with a 6.2l naturally aspirated V8 mounted behind the occupants. Pushing out 495bhp through an 8spd Tremec dual clutch it boasts impressive numbers; 0-60mph in 2.9s and on to 194mph. In traditional fashion the Stingray offers a removable targa roof panel that can be stowed in the back to hear even more from the exhaust. Onboard are a whole host of new technologies, features, gadgets and controls to play with.
