Back in 2015, we purchased an off-lease 2013 Nissan LEAF. It had just over 30,000 miles on the clock.

Fast forward four years, and it's now being driven 50 miles a day. It's still on its first battery pack. And while we now own a longer-range electric car in the form of the Chevrolet Bolt EV, how's this first-generation electric car faring?

And more importantly, has a lack of thermal battery management killed the car's battery pack yet?
