Longest roadtrip ever!!!! A grand total of 37 Hours in the Tesla Model Y (22 Hours to get to North Carolina and 15 Hours to get back to NJ). The roadtrip was a nightmare, as we went out into a Nor'Easter (our fault), but where it go worse, was where we least expected it (Mars Hill, NC). The Model Y review is summarized at 6:33

That said, we've listed out all of the Pros and Cons of driving a Tesla on a roadtrip in the winter, below:

Cons:
- The battery life for electric vehicles is drastically shortened during winter roadtrips (like almost cut in half, when going up a mountain, in 4-8 inches of snow, 14 degrees Fahrenheit, with the heat on).

- The lack of space was apparent with 3 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog, as well as food and clothes that were packed in the trunk, frunk and in the second row.

- The computer (which you need for music, GPS, speedometer and more), shut off on us twice, on our drive to North Carolina. And once on the way back home. Very annoying and a bit nerve-wracking when your car's computer shuts off while driving (it does not affect your ability to drive the car, but it does affect me not having my favorite music playing)... And the worst thing you can do, is mess with my music..... For reference, I never had an ICE vehicle restart the computer on me.....

Pros:
- Felt like an absolute tank in the snow and on ice.... Felt super safe in comparison to my previous cars (BMW leases)

- One pedal driving -- the fact that I don't have to put the brakes on, I'm sure helped being able to go down an icy and snowy mountain and not put stress on my tires/brakes

- How do you describe Love? You almost can't right? Well that feeling is the feeling we have for our Tesla.... We love it.... Despite some of the hardship we faced during this roadtrip.... Skip to 7:34
