France developed the Dassault Rafale for both its Air Force and Navy following its withdrawal from the collaborative Future European Fighter Aircraft project, which led to the Eurofighter Typhoon. The Rafale is designed to fulfill a variety of roles including air supremacy, reconnaissance, ground support, interdiction, deep strike, anti-ship operations, and nuclear deterrence, hence earning it the nickname "omnirole" 4.5th generation aircraft by Dassault. Since its debut in 2007 with bombing missions in Afghanistan, the Rafale has been extensively deployed in combat, notably as the first combat aircraft to patrol Libyan airspace in 2011. Let’s check out all the variants of the Rafale Fighter.
