If you want to change something in your life, you too will need to shift your paradigm. And that will mean doing some things that might seem illogical.

How long will it take to change your paradigm, and how much time will you have to invest each day?

Well, that depends on how big of a change you want to make and how quickly you want to make it.

In most cases, you will need to expose yourself to ideas that are opposite to your paradigm for an hour or so every day. If you do that, you can count on experiencing a paradigm shift.

Sandy’s life is unrecognizable compared to her previous life as a lawyer. However, you don’t have to reinvent yourself to experience a massive change in your life.

But let me be clear

We can’t change a paradigm with self-will alone. If we could, we’d all be living the life of our dreams.

Think about how many times you’ve been motivated to make a change in your life. You dreamed of earning a 6- or 7-figure income. You wanted to shed some pounds, so you could fit into your favorite pair of jeans. You planned to start a business.

But no matter how badly you wanted to make a permanent and substantial change, for one reason or another, it didn’t happen.

The question is: WHY?

You might be able to come up with one excuse or another, but I’ve got to tell you, there’s only one reason you’re not getting the results you want—your paradigm. It’s keeping you stuck right where you are.

You CAN change it

You can change your paradigm. However, there are only two ways to do it. One is an emotional impact. That is when something hits you so hard that your life will never be the same.

Repetition is the second way. It is exposing yourself to a new idea over and over again. The point is not to memorize the information, but rather to impress the idea or image into your subconscious mind.

You see, your paradigm is deeply rooted in you. So you can’t expose yourself to a new idea once or a handful of times and expect it to uproot the paradigm. That’s like trying to remove a 100-year oak tree by pruning a few of its branches.

Instead, you must impress the new idea or image over and over until it starts to take hold in your subconscious mind.

At first, the image is weak because it’s only in your conscious mind. It’s like a little sapling planted there. Repetition works to loosen the soil of the conscious mind and allow the new image to take root in the subconscious mind.

The more you impress the image into your subconscious mind, the stronger it becomes. Eventually, the old image weakens and the new one replaces it, and you move into the vibration that the image creates. When that happens, you are in resonance with all that you desire.
