The recent generation of Sorento was just released in 2021. The Sorento and has an amazing choice of four types of powertrains that includes a hybrid and plug-in hybrid version. In all honesty, the selection of features from standard, all the way to premium is one of its key selling points.
So, what can you say? For a small 3-row SUV, the Sorento got the basics covered with plenty of space for all passengers in every seat and still provides a large cargo space. Now, let’s move on to the ‘midsize 3-row SUV’ class.

The Hyundai Palisade is an SUV that was initially released in 2020 and the version released in 2022 is the third generation of the Palisade. Classed as a midsize SUV, there is naturally plenty of cabin and legroom space for passengers on all three rows of seats.
What sets the Palisade apart from a lot of its competitors is that it gives a more luxurious vibe. With extremely comfortable seats and ride quality, as well as designs and high-tech features that fit the part, the Palisade just oozes luxury.
There is no major difference between the 2021 version and the 2022 version except for the standardization of the blind spot monitoring being made available to its base model. The only part that is not so flattering about the Palisade is the handling that is not as crisp as other SUVs in the same class.
The highest rated midsize 3-row SUV is without a doubt the Kia Telluride. Three generations of this SUV have been released with the 2022 version being the latest. The latest Telluride has been upgraded with advanced driver assist and safety features, as well as a 10.25-inch center screen with dual-zone automatic climate control. The Kia badge and front grille have also been updated.
What is great about these upgrades is that they are standardized from their base to premium models. Above all else, the Telluride excels with its smooth ride quality, luxury-like interior, and most importantly, a third row that can comfortably accommodate full grown adults.
The only downside to the Telluride is probably that it just has less small-item cabin storage than some of its close competitors. But since it has ticked all the right boxes, the Kia Telluride definitely deserves the title as the best midsize 3-row SUV.
