Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has changed his mind again about sending a delegation to Washington D.C.

Earlier this week, the US abstained from a United Nations Security Council vote calling for a ceasefire in Gaza which allowed the measure to pass. Netanyahu then quickly canceled plans for that delegation to come to Washington to discuss the Rafah invasion.

Netanyahu claimed failure to veto the UN measure was a change by the US from its previous position. But now, Netanyahu has decided to send two top officials to Washington for talks as early as next week.
