Sky News host Steve Price says Melbourne and Sydney are “full” and has called for Australians to “start demanding our politicians” to include everyone in a debate about population.

“I think Australia and Australians need to start demanding our politicians include all of us in a debate about population,” Mr Price said.

“Australia’s big two cities – Melbourne and Sydney – are full.

“I was shocked at the release this week … of official population figures by the Bureau of Stats – more than shocked – angry … that we have allowed our political leaders to get away with what amounts to a massive Ponzi scheme using migrants and overseas students to prop up the economic indicators.

“All of us are paying the price: think housing crisis, rental crisis, street crime, homelessness … I could go on.

“You are not allowed to have this discussion – it’s considered racist to even talk about it.”
