How to remove wheel stud and install new wheel stud on a Toyota Tacoma! More BELOW

Tool List:

Jack Stands/Jack
M12x1.5 by 40mm wheel stud
M12x1.5 open hex nut
Bigger hex nut for bearing. I used a M14 open hex nut
(2) M8X1.25 bolts to remove drum brake cover
Hammer, I used 5lb hammer so that I wouldn't need to swing too hard and possibly damage another component

**If you don't have an impact gun you can use a ratchet with long extension for rear wheels drive wheels. For front wheels, the hub spins freely so you'll need (2) ratchets. One ratchet to pull stud through wheel hub as shown and another ratchet attached to a second stud/lug nut that will engage ground as you turn hub. This will keep your wheel hub from spinning. You'll most likely need a long extension or "cheater" bar to get enough length for ratchet handle to reach ground.
