Newcastle United are preparing for the return of Adidas as the club's kit manufacturer with a major refurbishment of part of St James' Park proposed. The current club shop, located on Strawberry Place, is set to be 'comprehensively' refurbished at the end of the season, to coincide with the arrival of the new sponsor.

A temporary store will be built on the unused car-park opposite the club shop while the work is complete during the off-season.
