In this episode we are responding to many, many requests to put the Strymon Mobius ‘against’ a selection of classic single-sound pedals. We cover flanger, phaser, rotary speaker, Univibe-type vibe and chorus as the main modulation food groups, before having a brief excursion through the Mobius’s.additional modes. This thing has sooooo many options we’re barely scratching the surface, yet scratch it we will.
A quick thanks to Katherine, Mick’s wife, who was on filming duties today because Simon was off having a baby. Or at least Simon’s wife was having a baby – CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!
Also, Mick wrongly states that Candy Apple Red was around from the late 1950s. NO! It was introduced in 1963. Slap that wrist.
