In the name of Allah, The Greatest Merciful, The Most Loving, Forgiving, Almighty.

As Ar Rahman, the 55th Surah of the Holy Quran, itself is a chapter of "Rahmah" or favours/bounties from the Almighty Allah, I have always felt very closed to this Surah and its verses, although all the Surahs in the Holy Book is same loved to me. Though an artist/musician/singer, I always felt a strong pull towards the endless, beautiful artistry of the Greatest Art, The Holy Quran. Surely, my music, my songs were never fully excluded from my religion or spirituality, almost always was about "God" or the "Beloved Prophet" or "spirituality". So, my love and interest in the Holy Quran, learning it and working on it was always in my plans. Finally I am doing this. I am sharing a surah on my channel so that more people, especially people who usually listen to me, get a good opportunity to listen to this beautiful surah. I'm so honoured and deeply privileged, grateful to be doing this.

As I consider myself as a religious, spiritual person and a human being who is constantly trying to go back to his roots, I have never stopped learning the verses and for some reasons "Ar Rahman" attracts me the most among all the Surahs in the Quran. I love the elegant and beautiful poetic composition of Allah Ajwajal. I love the understanding that we are sunk in His mercy every single moment, all for free and we must and must be grateful for that. I love how Allah Subhanuhu softly yet precisely scorning the man about his ignorance. The Surah actually is a "soft" scorning, reminding the gifts man enjoy from The Almighty.

The reason why I am working with Mr Tahir is because I am not a specialist in all the elegant rules and customs of reciting Quran which must be followed with due respect, and he is a very skilled and devoted Qari Masha Allah ( Guided by the Great Mishary Al Afasy himself ). Also, I was looking for someone young, and from this time, so that my younger listeners become more interested and inspired. Plus, Tahir and I share some beautiful matching energy, he is an artist as well, singing for a while, so we both have a beautiful bonding for sharing the same interests. Also, he is a man of a beautiful heart and a profound characteristics which made me love him more.

Lastly, I want to bless my workplace with the verses of the Holy Quran. And I want others to be blessed too. As YouTube has become a very beneficial platform to listen to things besides watching, I think its a great opportunity. Plus, I made the video to visually help the beholder to easily understand the meaning of the Surah instead of only listening without understanding. I dearly believe Allah will accept this humble work and bless and forgive us all who are watching and listening to it.
