I went on a trip to New York City to the Google Offices for a YouTube Shorts meet-up celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month! Stay tuned to see how it turns out, and what happens when my flight gets canceled due to a tornado!

My trip to the YouTube New York Offices was amazing. Google organized a YouTube Shortspanel for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. The goal of this trip was to meet up with fellow YouTubers, and my YouTube rep, and of course, celebrate my Asian heritage.

This is not my first time at the YouTube New York offices. Being from Montreal, it's not that far from me. However this time I did decide to fly, stay tuned to see whether that was a good idea or not. This is also my first time going to the United States in over 2 years.

After my flight landed, I ordered an Uber to get to the meatpacking district in New York City, where the YouTube offices are. On the way there, I stopped by the Vessel and took in the sights. From there I walked through the High Line park, which I highly recommend visiting.

I arrived at the YouTube offices a bit too early, so I took a walk and ended up at the Little Island at Pier 55. Once inside the Google offices, I of course give you a full review of the bathrooms!

This YouTube Shorts event was very informative and I got the chance to hear from many other YouTube creators. Didn't hurt that the event had all-you-can-eat food and all-you-can-drink beverages, a DJ, and live music.

I was able to meet @ELLIOTCHOY at the event but got a little star-struck, I'll be more prepared next time! So at the event, a few people mention I should leave early to get to the airport on time. Unfortunately, that didn't really matter since my original flight ended up being canceled, due to a tornado, of all things.

So all in all, instead of being a quick 1-hour trip, it ended up being an overnight voyage. My seat did get upgraded and I was able to get moving quickly because I have gold status with Air Canada. Finally made it back to Montreal the next morning, glad to be home!
