As the AURORAL project is aiming at building an interoperable middleware architecture to connect and replicate services in remote regions around Europe, gaps have been identified in several smart domains. This workshop presented the results of a thorough desk research on best practices and existing use cases, as well presented new approaches to the deplyoment of digital solutions in rural areas that can address identified gaps.
