hi friends! this is a song that i wrote for my graduating class this year as a part of my speech as class president at Lejeune High School :) i started writing it in january before COVID-19 interrupted our senior year, but it became all the more special to me as i realized that our "goodbyes" would not happen in the way we had expected. it's definitely odd have a highly anticipated, monumental ending to a four year period of your life end without a sense of closure.

while it is bittersweet to say goodbye to these past four years, i encourage you to hold on to the beautiful memories and lessons you have gathered thus far. walk forward with boldness and expectation as you enter this next chapter of your life :)
