As we motorcycle on down the Great River Road, we should have known that shade was going to be a bigger issue than we gave credit to. Somehow, we’ve managed to bring our batteries down to zero and can’t seem to recover. Not a major concern if you’re on a short trip, but we rely on our solar power for everything – computers, camera, gopros – you name it and we charge it with solar. Thankfully there’s been some very inexpensive camping sites with electric along the Great River Road Route that we’ve taken advantage of while we try to figure things out.
