■ A build series of making a cherry desk. Because it will be longer project I will try to put out some videos with various stages of the build, much longer and detailed, until the main final video will appear.

First episode is this were I select and dimension the wood components of the desk. Probably in the main video I would have cut just a few seconds of this stage, so here is a more elaborate story of how it was made. Also, If you watched my kiln build video, here is that cherry I have dried. I'm showing some moisture measurements of the wood, how I've trimmed, planed, grain selection etc

For the next ones I had planned: the leg assembly joinery, more fun there with the angled mortise and tenon elements, then I believe the table top lamination and the build of the drawer, with half blind dovetails, if no other changes will occur in the design until then. And at last, the main video will all together, more condensed, dynamic as usual :)
