V: 23-24

وَقَضٰى رَبُّكَ اَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوۡۤا اِلَّاۤ اِيَّاهُ وَبِالۡوَالِدَيۡنِ اِحۡسَانًا​ ؕ اِمَّا يَـبۡلُغَنَّ عِنۡدَكَ الۡكِبَرَ اَحَدُهُمَاۤ اَوۡ كِلٰهُمَا فَلَا تَقُلْ لَّهُمَاۤ اُفٍّ وَّلَا تَنۡهَرۡهُمَا وَقُلْ لَّهُمَا قَوۡلًا كَرِيۡمًا(23)
And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. Whether one or both of them reach old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor reprimand them but address them in terms of honor.
തന്നെയല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആരാധിക്കരുതെന്നും, മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ക്ക്‌ നന്‍മചെയ്യണമെന്നും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ്‌ വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവരില്‍ ( മാതാപിതാക്കളില്‍ ) ഒരാളോ അവര്‍ രണ്ട്‌ പേരും തന്നെയോ നിന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ വെച്ച്‌ വാര്‍ദ്ധക്യം പ്രാപിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ അവരോട്‌ നീ ഛെ എന്ന്‌ പറയുകയോ, അവരോട്‌ കയര്‍ക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യരുത്‌. അവരോട്‌ നീ മാന്യമായ വാക്ക്‌ പറയുകയും ചെയ്യുക.

وَاخۡفِضۡ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحۡمَةِ وَقُلْ رَّبِّ ارۡحَمۡهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيٰنِىۡ صَغِيۡرًا ؕ‏ (24)
And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.
കാരുണ്യത്തോട്‌ കൂടി എളിമയുടെ ചിറക്‌ നീ അവര്‍ ഇരുവര്‍ക്കും താഴ്ത്തികൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ചെറുപ്പത്തില്‍ ഇവര്‍ ഇരുവരും എന്നെ പോറ്റിവളര്‍ത്തിയത്‌ പോലെ ഇവരോട്‌ നീ കരുണ കാണിക്കണമേ എന്ന്‌ നീ പറയുകയും ചെയ്യുക.

Allah commands us to worship Him alone, with no partner or associate .The idea of worshiping Allah is connected to the idea of honoring one's parents that is good treatment of parents, If one of them or both attain old age in your life ,don't let them hear anything offensive from you ,not even say "UFF" which is the mildest word of disrespect and do not do anything horrible to them. Do not raise your hand against them but address them gently ,kindly ,politely and with respect. Be humble towards them in your actions. There are many hadiths which speaks about honoring one's parents. one of the hadiths is :
Imam Ahmad reported from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet ﷺ said:
رَغِمَ أَنْفُ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ رَجُلٍ أَدْرَكَ أَحَدَ أَبَوَيْهِ أَوْ (كِلَيْهِمَا) عِنْدَ الْكِبَرِ وَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ
(He is doomed, he is doomed, he is doomed, the man whose parents, one or both of them, reach old age while he is alive and he does not enter Paradise.)
