The untitled fourth "Matrix" film is coming in 2021 to free our minds all over again, but one of the main characters of the series apparently isn't coming along for the ride.

While Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, who played Neo and Trinity in the original three "Matrix" movies, have been confirmed as reprising their roles in "Matrix 4," it seems like the Matrix is being rebooted without the involvement of Laurence Fishburne, who memorably brought the human resistance fighter Morpheus to life.

Considering the fates that Neo and Trinity met in "The Matrix Revolutions," it's a little bit surprising that Morpheus is the one who isn't coming back. Watch along with us as Laurence Fishburne explains why he won't return in "The Matrix 4."
