Battery Researcher Jeff Dahn and Tesla Motors Canada recently filed a patent application that reveals some of Tesla’s latest battery research. This patent application specifically deals with new electrolyte additive combinations, that enhance the LIFETIME and PERFORMANCE of Lithium-Ion batteries, while also lower the cost and complexity of Lithium-Ion battery manufacturing.
