1. Don’t go Shopping
⁃ If you don’t go shopping then you won’t spend money
⁃ If you need something from the store, go and buy it
⁃ It used to be if you didn't go to the store, you wouldn’t buy anything but now everything is only and all the advertising also, feeding you info on your wants and your so-called needs that are revenant to you
⁃ We attempt to buy things to full something in us, but it is a terrible source because we need to keep filling it
⁃ Build up the muscle of saying no, and only buy what you need when you have the cash to do it

2. Live within your Means
⁃ Only buy what you can afford responsibly, not going into debt and also ways having some money for a rainy day
⁃ This means waiting until you have the money, to buy the things you want/need
⁃ It also gives you tie, to really see if that’s what you want
⁃ This also helps you be able to weather the hard time, when they come

3. Take Care of what you have
⁃ We all have one thing we want to last longer than that’s our bodies, and doing what is needed to take care of them, will save us a lot of money
⁃ Taking care of your teeth, or eating by energy and not taste buds ( this can save your life and medical bills )
⁃ Extend the life of al your passions, upgrading internals on a laptop instead of buying a new one, cleaning the vacuum, maintenance on the washer machine, and dusting your fridge coils can save you energy and your fridge
⁃ Machines are not self-healing like we are, have you ever ignored a headache and then it went away, if you ignore a sound in your car, it might cost you the car
⁃ We need to learn how to repair instead of replace, there may not be more to replace what we have in the future and you may also not have the money to do so

4. Wear it Out
⁃ What’s the last Item that you actually wore out
⁃ Think about how much money you would be saving, if you simply decided to use them even 20% longer or until they no longer work
⁃ Are you simply upgrading last year's clothes, phone and furniture and whatever else, because of what really
⁃ Before you buy something, ask yourself, do I already have one of these that still works just fine
⁃ The web is full of creative life hacks to save money buy reusing stuff
⁃ But, if your phone is not working and crashing, your crash is spending a lot of time in with the mechanic on more than just instance, or your shoes are hurting you, then it may be time to replace

5. Do it Yourself
⁃ Can you fix a light bulb
⁃ Do your maintenance on your car
⁃ Do your taxes
⁃ Fix a plumbing leak
⁃ Build a bookshelf
⁃ Plant a garden
⁃ Design your own website
⁃ Cut your family's hair
⁃ It use to be we would learn valuable life skills from our parents, but now we are all just consumers of products and services, even those
⁃ Just ask yourself if you can do something yourself, or what it would cost you to learn how to do it yourself
⁃ Basic living and survival skills can be learned online, through websites, books, and courses
