I Review the GMC sierra 1500 with the 2.7L Turbomax engine and go over why GM has left out 4wd low from their base model 4x4 pick up trucks. I explain what 4wd low does and went to use it as well as the advantages of having 4wd low in an off road situation or when towing a heavy trailer.

So I've been wanting to chat about this for a little bit and I find it interesting that GM has now made 4wd low an option for a 4x4 pick up truck. no longer are the days of getting a 2 speed transfer case a standard thing. good news is ford and RAM both have kept the 2 speed transfer cases or 4wd low a standard option.
personally I think the 1500 truck segment is going more towards the family vehicle and less the work vehicle meaning that less and less people are going to need 4wd low and I think thats why GM has gone in this direction.
I personally don't like to see it but I have a suspicion a large portion of 1500 truck owners have never even used their 4wd low option.
4wd low is a tremendous tool when in certain situations and I personally would not buy a truck without it. like I mentioned in the video I'm curious if you guys use 4wd low and if you guys would even miss not having 4wd low.
hope you guys liked the video!
