A royal albatross livestreamed from Otago in New Zealand has become a hit after footage of a failed landing was transmitted around the globe. The adult albatross was returning to feed its chick before mistiming its approach and crash landing in front of its unfazed offspring, a camera, and devoted followers online. The New Zealand Department of Conservation albatross stream has drawn a large audience since it started in 2016
