Maverick turned two recently (wow time flies!) and we decided to celebrate his birthday by going to the happiest place on Earth: Disneyland! Ryan and I have been planning this trip for months and scheduled lots of fun activities for us while we were at Disney.

We decided to drive instead of fly because with all of the kids and luggage (and whatever we bought at Disney haha) would be much harder to navigate compared to just loading the car up and going.

We drove down and spent the first day checking into the hotel and walking around Downtown Disney to get the kids excited and ready for Mickey Mouse and his friends.

We decided to stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel because it was right there on the Disney property and easy for us to have fun but also go back to the room if the babies were tired and needed a break.

The road trip down went great. The babies did great and did not have any problems. Ryan gets bored on the drives so I entertained him by quizzing him on law school trivia to see if he really remembered anything from his days in law school!

Downtown Disney is so magical during the holiday season! This was our first time experiencing it and we were all blown away from the magical atmosphere they create with music and decorations and apparel. All we were missing was snow and horse drawn carriages.
