In-between two Elbrus expeditions (for my company Mountain Expeditions) I had a few days off so I thought 'why not!'. The forecast was good so I nipped up Monday afternoon & stayed the night at the hut and started from 4500m on Tuesday morning at 05:00. 4hrs 15min up, 35 min back down. The skiing was excellent and the powder snow conditions perfect. The footage was all shot on my iPhone!
