The 1969 Mustang 'E' is an ultra-rare fastback created by Ford. Powered by a specially designed inline 6-cylinder (250ci) featuring an increased 9.0:1 compression ratio and a uniquely built single-barrel Autolite carburetor. The C4 automatic transmission has an oversized (1-inch larger) high-stall torque converter and a 2.33 rear axle ratio.

The cooling system was purpose-built and utilizes a 13-fin-per-inch radiator, a specialty thermostat, and a 17-inch cooling fan with 6 blades. All Mustang 'E' models were produced at the Dearborn, Michigan production facility and left the assembly line without air conditioning.

Very few people have heard of the Mustang 'E' and even fewer have set their eyes on one. Many Ford experts and the most hardcore of Mustang enthusiasts have no idea that this vehicle was ever produced.

There is a very interesting history behind the Mustang 'E', yet information about the car as a production vehicle and the project itself is limited. Thanks to Ford's records, Marti Reports, and the knowledge of a handful of experts who are familiar with this ultra-rare Mustang we have recovered as much of the knowledge as possible.

This vehicle is in perfect concours condition, completely correct, in its original color of Silver Jade, and ready to be showcased in the finest collection. Fully documented and known to be the only one in existence today, it is currently for sale. The opportunity of a lifetime presents itself.
