This is How To Shim Your Oil Pump demonstrated on a D16Y8 being prepped for a Vitara Turbo setup.

We used a 1/4 inch Ring Connector from AutoZone as our Shim.
It is about 40 thousanths thick.
With this mod the pressure should be able to rise several PSI just to get us a little more pressure for those higher RPMs.
