In this video, I will be separating the facts from the hype and see if the Grenadier could be my new long-range remote touring 4wd.

The Ineos Grenadier a NEW purpose build solid-axle 4wd, the brainchild of Sir Jim Ratcliff, the richest man in the UK. The Ineos Grenadier is supposed to provide an alternative for the current aging Toyota 70 Series, the Jeep Wrangler and the old Landrover Defender. In comparison to most modern 4w drives like the new Land Rover Defender, the Toyota 300 Series and the Nissan Patrol Y62, the Grenadier is not designed as a Luxury SUV first and 4wd Second but as a robust, capable true 4wd which is suitable for forestry, military and private 4wd driving. I have seen quite a few Ineos Grenadier reviews on YouTube; however, I noticed the most were from auto journos who had little idea about 4wd and for whom everything with a centre diff lock was the most capable go-anywhere vehicle. I recently had the chance to see the Grenadier in the flesh and go for a ride as a passenger.
