The CHP stated that the rain, wet roads, and speed were the main contributors to this crash. The female driver of the car was driving northbound on the I-15 and took the transition ramp to the westbound I-8.
She lost control of the vehicle after hitting the wall on the over-crossing and flipped the vehicle onto its roof. Firefighters had to extricate the woman and she was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The ramp was closed for approx 1 hour.
