Apple's M1 chip released last year to much fanfare, but it mostly saw deployment on small, efficient form factors such as the MacBook line and more recently, iPad Pro. But is an M1 in an iMac a bad thing? Does it need a more powerful chip? We submit that it doesn't as we're replacing our $10,000 Mac Pro with an M1 iMac.
