I interview Jerry Perez, a paramedic with the L.A. County Fire Department. Awhile back a man named Koz was sailing with friends when he spotted a pod of dolphins about 3 miles off the California coast (near Santa Monica). The dolphins directed his attention to what he thought was a human hand coming out of the water. Upon further inspection Koz found a naked woman who had been drifting in the water for 12 hours in the cold water. Firefighter Perez was called to help with the rescue. This is his recollection of that day.
