The Arkana is Renault's first coupe-like crossover and the French automaker has very high hopes for it. At the model's national launch, they showed us some graphs that all indicated the fact that this particular body style's popularity is going up and there currently aren't that many models (that don't wear a premium badge). The Arkana is not really an exciting vehicle, either to driver or look at, but it is very competent and well specced by class standards, and it has the all important higher ground clearance and the sloping rear end.
