Here’s a super quick video on how to pack your frozen breastmilk for shipping to Booby Food.

What You'll Need:
- Styrofoam Cooler (appropriate size for the amount your shipping)
- Cardboard Shipping Box (that will hold your styrofoam cooler)
- Protective Gloves
- Brown Packing Paper
- Sharpie Marker
- Dry Ice (about 5lbs)
- Packing Tape
- Scissors
- "Dry Ice' Shipping Label ( find this on the FedEx website)

Tips:
• Remember to label the outside of the cardboard shipping box "Contains Human Milk" or "Contains Frozen Breastmilk".

• Reduce air circulation and early thawing by packing the frozen breastmilk tight enough where’s there’s no large gaps, but flexible enough to allow for expansion.

• Always use gloves when handling dry ice.

• Pack as much dry ice in the box that will comfortably fit - about 5lbs is great!

• Only seal the styrofoam container with two strips of tape - this allows the CO2 gas to escape from the dry ice. Feel free to tape the cardboard box more securely though.

• Print off a Dry Ice label from the FedEx website to let the handlers know your parcel contains dry ice.

• Ship to Booby Food!

Booby Food will freeze dry your breastmilk into a shelf stable, travel friendly powder so you won’t have to worry about doing all this again!
