This is my humble tribute to another electronic music giant, Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou, better known by his music profession as Vangelis. He has been very influential over the years and a huge source of inspiration for many people and fellow musicians. Vangelis is renowned for the Yamaha CS-80. Of course he worked with many instruments, including percussion. My first Vangelis experience, as many people, was Chariots of Fire, then Albedo 0.39 shortly afterward. I later obtained a copy of Spiral, which was one of my personal favorites.
I spent many hours on this song hoping once again that the music will express my feelings. Electric Dreams is structured in two suites. The first is more of a memorial of his music and how he touched us over the years, the second is a dirge which expresses sorrow.
