Outward swinging exterior doors can cause a lot of damage to building if the wind catches it and swings it out hard. It can break door jamb, bend outside metal, and even rip the door off the hinges. I prefer the concrete mounted door stops, but they are usually too short, so they don't work. I ended up making one that works very well for our purpose.
