19-year-old Matt Greenshields from Okotoks, Alberta is one of the youngest survivors of the disease in Canada.

Dawna Friesen talks to Greenshields about his fight with COVID-19, when he got sick and how quickly he deteriorated.

Greenshields wanted to go public with his story as a message to young people that they need to pay attention to this illness and not assume you won't get sick.
