The next Nagar Kirtan is taking place on Sunday 7th April 2024

It is truly refreshing to come across people who are carrying out unconditional service to help the most needy in our society this we have found especially with the Sikh / Singh community, may God Bless them all for what they do!!!

The Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan event celebrates Sikh and Punjabi culture and is one of the most important events in the Sikh calendar, at the event (which has a festival or Mela type atmosphere) Sikhs give out free langar, langar is Prasad (also known as food blessed by God) so they don't charge for it.

A special thank you to all of the people who came together for this event, everyone we came across very much welcomed us and were gracious.

Even though the weather was overcast with some rain falling, the people at this event bought only sunshine into everyone's lives.

Video recorded in Southall's London's "Little India Streets" on The Broadway & South Road, Southall.
