Join me as we get to know more about the man who Sang Opera and auditioned for QVC by selling a pencil! Let's hear a little from Mike:

"Hey there, folks! You might think you know a lot about Mike Rowe, but there's always more to discover. Today, I'm going to give you a quick version of my journey from a farm kid to where I am now. I grew up on a farm in Baltimore County, right next to my grandfather, Carl Noble, who was a master electrician and an all-around genius with tools. I was privileged to learn from him, my Father, and my music teacher in High School.

After community college, I dabbled in various fields, including acting and singing in the Baltimore Opera. But here's the twist: I never thought I'd end up in the entertainment industry. I had a stammer as a kid, and I was incredibly shy. Cameras and fame weren't even on my radar. But thanks to influential mentors, like my high school teacher Fred King, who taught me that I couldn't stutter when I sang, I discovered the power of overcoming challenges. And that's how I ended up here, talking to you today."
