Hike up memory lane. 5 years ago a snowstorm hit the Superstition Wilderness. I decided to hike up the Siphon Draw towards the Flatiron. As I gained altitude the rock pathway became more slippery. RED FLAG!! The steep slope up would have created more problems on the descent. Therefore, I turned back!
