Ready to pounce, the Kona Electric will be available in Lite, Plus, and Max guises, with a 39.4kWh battery pack for the former two and a 64kWh battery pack for the Max, with WLTP-rated range starting at 305km and topping out at 484km.

The Hyundai Kona Electric will be available in Malaysia with a 2-year/50,000km warranty and an 8-year/160,000km warranty on the battery pack for the following prices:

Hyundai Kona Electric Lite: RM149,888
Hyundai Kona Electric Plus: RM169,888
Hyundai Kona Electric Max: RM199,888
