With "EV" now being the hottest word in the automotive industry thanks to comprehensive incentives from the Government, the first to act appear to be Korean marque Hyundai, who've been sitting on their facelifted Kona Electric SUV for some time now. Ready to pounce, the Kona Electric will be available in Lite, Plus, and Max guises, with a 39.4kWh battery pack for the former two and a 64kWh battery pack for the Max, with WLTP-rated range starting at 305km and topping out at 484km.
The Hyundai Kona Electric will be available in Malaysia with a 2-year/50,000km warranty and an 8-year/160,000km warranty on the battery pack for the following prices:
Hyundai Kona Electric Lite: RM149,888
Hyundai Kona Electric Plus: RM169,888
Hyundai Kona Electric Max: RM199,888
