Today we are looking at retrofitting a heater made for boats and installing it in my turbo LS truck. This is a hydronic heater made by the guys over at @Maradynehpfans . A hydronic heater is a heater that relys on engine coolant produce heat. As long as the engine is hot, the heater will produce hot air. This type of system is great for classic cars as well as boats because it can be used to create a insane amount of heat in the cabin without having to worry about over powering the electronics of the vehicle. On a boat that is a similar benefit and it allows the alternator as well as the battery to run cooler vs an electric heater. This heater is made by the same guys that make the engine cooling fans for my truck so I know that this will be a solid product for the long haul.
