MY EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE
As promised three simple steps before bedtime to clean, hydrate and repair your skin.
STEP ONE Balm Cleanser - two I’m loving right now are @naturerepublicuk Charcoal Balm Cleanser and Blue Chamomile Balm Cleanser teamed with either a @primark.beauty PS set of Microfibre cloths or a @makeuperaser cloth (yes it costs more but they are much better quality), all washed in a @guppybag
STEP TWO HYDRATION - I use either @hadalabotokyo_uk Gold 5-1 Hyaluronic or @larocheposay new Cicaplast B5 Serum but also happy to go in with a moisturising peptide like the @no7uk Future Renew Serum @naturiumskin MultiPeptide Moisturiser or @officialmedik8 Liquid Peptides just to give slip to my all important Retinoid.
STEP THREE RETINOIDS
Start slow build up. Look for a 0.2% like @cerave Resurfacing Retinol or a 0.3% like the @no7uk one then build up to 1% like the ones shown here from @paulaschoiceuk Clinical 1% Retinol @no7 1% Retinol or,!on a budget, try @theordinary 1% Retinol in Squalane.
When you feel ready you can move on to retinal starting with a 0.05% from @geekandgorgeous.uk or the new launch from @naturiumskin then move on to 0.1% from @geekandgorgeous.uk and @elfcosmeticsuk (surely the best value Retinoid around). But for the easiest retinal journey follow the @officialmedik8 Crystal Retinal steps from 1-20. Slow and steady wins the race.
Next up exfoliation and a rant about overusing them 🤷🏼‍♀️
