Last year, Cadillac unveiled the Lyriq Concept car, a car that it said would enter into production based on General Motors' Ultium battery pack and drivetrain.
Today, it unveiled the production version of the same, months ahead of schedule. And while the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq (due to enter into production next year) is an expensive luxury compact crossover, we think it shows promise from Cadillac.
And we also think this could be one of the most important electric cars for the EV industry this year.
