First off please accept my apologies for the video footage quality (will get a goPro eventually) and the length of the video, I mostly put it together for myself to analyze my mistakes and improve while listening to the music I like. If you don't love drifting you'll surely get bored after a few minutes hehe.
These are most of my practice runs in the forth round of our national drift championship. Unfortunately I had the bad luck of mostly having to practice while the track was wet but I made the most out of it and had tons of fun.
As my car is really lacking low end power for these small tracks in 2nd gear I was using crappy 185/65/15 tires so that I could have decent control for the qualifications, however that ment I couldn't get some decent speed going. Matrix style slow motion drifting hehe.
The car is a Nissan 200SX S13 with a SR20DET Red Top engine running minor power mods (~220hp) and a pretty much full Driftworks underpinnings and suspension with a semi-soft setup as the surface we usually drive on isn't exactly the flattest.
As this drifting thing is getting more and more expensive and competitive I welcome any sponsors willing to invest in me as I know I can improve a lot but only practicing in events with little power isn't really the fastest way of getting there.
Thanks go to my mate Adi who filmed himself as a passenger and let me post
it. Mersi Adi !
Cheers and sorry again for boring you with this extremely long vid :)
