Hired the Wrong Builder! Unfinished installation on this wolf range and no recessed box which just makes things more complicated. What happened here?

This is possibly one of the WORST project remodels I've ever seen and I'd like to share with you all of the problems that we saw on our walk through of this home. Should we take over this project to get them back on track?
