enlightED 2023, the global conference combining innovation, education and technology, brought together a total of 50 speakers from home and abroad and featured over 30 debates, workshops and case studies. 2,500 people attended the sixth edition of an event which, held on 18 and 19 October, focused on rethinking education in the age of artificial intelligence. The conference, promoted by the Telefónica Foundation, IE University, South Summit and the “La Caixa” Foundation, welcomed renowned domestic and international thinkers such as Toju Duke, founder of Diverse AI, a speaker, author and advisor on responsible AI; Daniel Susskind, professor of Economics at King’s College London and associate researcher at the Institute for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence at Oxford University; Carl-Benedikt Frey, the Dieter Schwarz Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Work at the Oxford Internet Institute and fellow of Mansfield College at Oxford University; Edo Segal, serial entrepreneur, inventor and private investor and currently the founder and CEO of bMuse; and Priya Lakhani, founder and CEO of Century Tech.
