Battlestar Galactica is an American science fiction television series created by Glen A. Larson that began the Battlestar Galactica franchise.

It was very expensive, very short-lived and embroiled in lawsuits and controversy the whole way.

And then they tried again with Galactica 1980. And it also went badly.
