The new images from the JWST keep blowing our minds! It's also the anniversary of the James Webb space telescope's first year of science. The ice giant Uranus is pictured with unusually distinct rings. Glide through the remnants of a supernova explosion that happened in our own galaxy, the Milkyway. Peek through the curtains of visible light to observe the effect of star formation in a distant galaxy through the infrared capabilities of the telescope. And finally, the death throes of a massive star produce a dazzling display of colors reflecting off spewed out matter many times the mass of our entire sun.
